Illustrated synopsis of a biblical text

The Book of Revelation of St John the Divine

The Book of Revelation of St John the Divine is the concluding book of the Bible and a very surreal text. Rachel Beckett’s illustrative interpretation is not theological but interprets it on a literal and visual level. For each chapter there is an illustration, a précis of the text and biblical reference.

First published in 2012 and reprinted in 2020, the 24-page book is illustrated in full colour and comes with a full colour dust jacket. The illustrations, acrylic paintings 14 x 18 inches, have been exhibited at Under the Edge Arts in Wotton Under Edge, Gloucestershire, and also at Gloucester Cathedral coffee shop. Several of them are still for sale (please enquire).
